Last Saturday, May 4th, 2024 we had the pleasure of screening the powerful and stunning artwork "The Quickening" by artist Deirdre O'Mahony as the last leg of the Walls & Halls Tour.

Over 90 people of all ages gathered to watch the film and listen to the conversation between Deidre and Suzanna Crampton, a regenerative sheep farmer, photographer, and healthy soils advocate.

There was a great mix of interests and backgrounds amongst the attendees and that allowed for truly engaging conversations.

We are very grateful to everyone who turned up and every person involved in the preparation and delivery of the event. Including of course the artist Deirdre O'Mahony and Suzanna Crampton. The wonderful Colin, a technician efficient and graceful, and Lar O'Toole who came up with a practical and elegant solution to block out the light in our space.

A big thank you as well to Catherine Bowe and Wexford Arts Centre, Georgina Jackson and the Douglas Hyde Gallery, the art department of Wexford County Council and the Arts Council.
