Blackbird Cultur-Lab is thrilled to take part again in Cruinniú na nÓg.
This year we will offer two workshops for children ages 7-12 and their parents.

Participants will be introduced to the basic principles of soil and clay and will learn a couple of methods to make natural pigments. Each participant will then be able to use such pigments in their own compositions inspired by the farm surroundings.
II. Natural inks with David Begley (visual artist.) FULLY BOOKED
13:00 p.m.
Participants will learn about tannins and the different methods to make ink from natural materials such as alder cones and iron water. They will then use the ink to draw a portrait.
_Blackbird Cultur-Lab is located within a working farm. Please be aware that there are dogs, cats and two chickens around the areas where we will be working.
Working with soil, clay and natural pigments by its nature involves dust, dirt and stains. Please take this into account.
