Curator Janice Li has been with us for a few days and we have already been learning so much from her.

We arranged a visit for her and the artists taking part in Leeward at Cow House Studios, to the research centre of Teagasc in Wexford, followed by a visit to CoolyDoody Farm in County Waterford. Both visits were fascinating and Janice and the artists were able to compare the different approaches to the making and use of knowledge by scientists on one hand, and innovative entrepeneurial farmers on the other.

Janice also visited the Agricultural Museum at Johnstown Castle in Wexford, as well as the fishing village of Kilmore Quay and its geologically-stunning surroundings.
