Spring Research Residency
Blackbird Cultur-Lab is delighted to announce its first Spring Research Residency.
London-based curator Janice Li will stay at our farmhouse for two weeks to do research about natural cycles, seasonality, agricultural work and their impact in artistic practices.
Janice was until recently working at the V&A museum in London. She has just been appointed temporary exhibition curator of the Wellcome Collection in London.
We could not be happier for Janice and expect great things will come out from her work at the Wellcome Collection.
During her time at Blackbird Cultur-Lab in Wexford Janice will be visiting various art practicioners. She will also coincide with resident artists from "Leeward" at Cow House Studios, also curated by Karla Sánchez.
